Camped Thanksgiving Weekend 2017. Staff was not very friendly. Sites are a little small but no problem. We kept smelling sewage at the site throughout the weekend. Went up and tried to by wood and the staff said they would bring it out in an hour - NO SHOW!!! It rained Sunday night into Monday and I understand its a campground and low grounds would be flooded, but our septic pipe was pouring raw sewage out. The whole area stunk like sewage and couldn't drain the tanks or it would have flooded more. Toilet paper and who know what else floating all over. . Had to unhook and move to empty tanks while treading in raw sewage. Utterly disgusting!!! Cost me another $80.00 for new shoes. Told the staff and all they said they were having a problem with the water and rain. Didn't seem to care I get it, but don't rent those sites until you solve the problem!!! Only camp there if its dry! CAMPGROUND OF THE YEAR AWARD-Didn't see that there!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Update: so we were back this summer. So what the F is the $10 registration fee added to my camping costs. I drive in and NO ONE else is camping. You guys are getting too greedy.....!!!! You are losing me......be careful, because once you 'lose me', I will NEVER be back.

When I arrived I was given someone else's campsite mistakenly. After talking to the manager and being told to move to the plot beside it, I learned from my neighbour that the plots had flooded the previous night. Since I was in a tent, I would have been practically swimming in water if it rained heavily. Thankfully, the manager understood my concerns and changed my campsite. My next problem is that because of the high tides, the beach was practically non-existent. So I ended up visiting a friend at Rock Point (30min drive), which had a nice beach . Also, the plots that I saw had no fire pit because they were in storage. So, if you wanted a fire you would have to light it on the ground. But the customer service was good and there was a cool arcade

I obtained some damp wood not suitable to burn. Marvin, the owner/ operator of the establishment made it right! After going through about 8 bags of wood, we found some suitable for use. As a business owner myself, I cannot thank these folks enough for going above and BEYOND the call of duty.

I have been bringing my children to Knights Beach Resort for at LEAST 12 years now.... The beach is absolutely stunning and great for children the grounds are very clean and the workers are amazing and friendly. I love that the restroom s are so close to the hydro and water sites as well as near the beach site 94 is definitely our favorite, it's great to run into the same seasonals who are there all the time It's such a family friendly park The kids are never bored with events on the weekends I usually look up on the calender to book special days, my children love the boat races and Christmas in July

I want to start out by saying that our family loves this place. We have been coming here for years (camping). However, we are seeing a bad slip down a not so good slope. Not sure where to start. More garbage left laying around (sometimes for days) from other campers who have departed. Less attention to the beach (dead fish that washed ashore during a storm remained there for more than a day....disgusting when they start to stink and number in the dozen or so). Marlene, you have always made us feel welcome and as though we were the most important people (even though we know we are only campers)....that is why we keep coming back.....PLEASE have your daytime girl do the same.....I hated even asking her to open the store for ICE, or asking her for a WIFI password....it seemed like we were bothering her.....she definitely has a bit of an attitude........she maybe should be doing something else other than her 'customer facing' job.....she did not make us feel the same way you do. And please issue gate passes to campers....multiple times I was sitting there for 10....15....even 20 mins waiting to get in.....btw, seasonal residents were sitting behind us at the gate waiting to get in.....and I couldn't back up to get out of their way. Anyways, we still love the place and will see you again next year....but hope our experience is like it used to be.
